This program is designed for people with Type 2 Diabetes.
It teaches:

Healthy eating
Exercise at your level
How to use glucose monitoring to make day to day decisions
How to manage sick days
Reducing risk for other health conditions
Coping with the challenges of living with Diabetes

Help Us Make Sleeping Mats for the Unhoused

The group meets every 1st and 3rd Saturday 10:30 am to 12:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall of Medford First United Methodist Church. Join us and we can teach you how it鈥檚 done. You don鈥檛 have to bring anything, just show up.

If you are an organization that would like to start a project of their own, come to our classes. We can do demonstratons at your location and help you get started.

Step into the world of Saturday Speaker Series: Virginia Howard Mullan "Humboldt County Courts World鈥檚 Fairs Florence Harrie (1889鈥�1981, Karuk) and experience the legacy of a master weaver. Born at Katim卯in, the Karuk center of the world, Florence returned to her ancestral home after boarding school to learn the art of gathering and weaving from renowned weavers like Elizabeth Hickox. She made her living through her craft and today, her great-grandson, Bradley Marshall, has lovingly curated this exhibit to bring her story home.

ART ON FIRST: An Artful Life, Solo Exhibition John Palombo

Monday, March 31 - Monday, April 28, 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Currently featured at ART on FIRST are nature inspired paintings by John Palombo. With just enough challenges growing up to gain some deep colors and spectrums in his life, John has made use of the follies and torture of being human and turned them into joy and happiness by finding something that truly speaks to his soul - visiting remote natural areas and painting. John loves color and creating color. His focus has always been on landscapes of Southern Oregon, particularly Southeastern Oregon. When creating a composition, John's interest is to translate the magic that he sees in the world and in nature onto his surface. With this, he hopes to inspire his viewers to find the same magic, or something that is personal to just them.

Trinity Ashland will offer the opportunity to reflect on Jesus鈥� final day in Jerusalem. The spiritual practice known as Way of the Cross, Stations of the Cross and the Via Dolorosa has it roots in the intentions of pilgrims to the Holy Land over many hundreds of years. The Episcopal Book of Occasional Services lays out two versions of the Way of the Cross. This year we will use the Scriptural Way of the Cross. Dive into "ReCrafted: Salvage Studio," where participants of all ages can create art from recycled materials. Join a workshop led by Art in Steam Gallery artist Kailey Ousley to craft bird ornaments and learn the secrets behind her paper-based artworks. Then, bring your creativity to life with Trashion Show-worthy designs using recycled fabric! Experiment with fabric scraps to craft unique looks鈥攚hether through collage or wearable creations. Meanwhile, join cover band Fork in the Road in the Science Theater for a live show jam-packed with groovy dance beats.
