The Ashland Water Polo Club invites all kids grades 6 to 12 to come join us for the fun, community and hard work that is water polo for our spring season. No experience is necessary and ALL are welcome. Come try Water Polo during the week of Monday, March 31st to Thursday April 3rd 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Daniel Meyer Pool. This is a great time for players who are new to water polo to come join the fun and for our experienced players to get back into the groove of water polo and to help introduce the sport to the newer players. Celebrate National Poetry Month by Awakening the Poet Within in our series of Poetry for All Workshops this April! Whether you are already a poet, are aspiring to be one, or just want to live life in the present moment and set yourself free, this is the workshopfor you. Join Evonne Ellis, MFA in Creative Writing, and Kayla Marie Figard, librarian, naturalist, and California Poet Teacher in training, for one workshop or all four in a deep dive of how to unleash your inner poet. We will cover words and imagery, waking up the senses and nature inspiration, elements of sound and repetition, and exploration into the energy of poetry. Each workshop will feature some instruction about craft, time to play with craft through prompts, and opportunity to reflect and share. No experience necessary! The group meets every 1st and 3rd Saturday 10:30 am to 12:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall of Medford First United Methodist Church. Join us and we can teach you how it’s done. You don’t have to bring anything, just show up.
If you are an organization that would like to start a project of their own, come to our classes. We can do demonstratons at your location and help you get started.

This small group personal training program is designed for groups of 8-10, offering the benefits of personal training in a group setting.
All fitness levels welcome, though you will need to be able to get up and down from the floor without assistance. A combination of weight training, balance exercises and some cardio with functional lifelong wellness in mind. Benefits include prevention of osteoporosis by stimulating the growth of muscle and bone, mental and emotional health, improved immune system, and most importantly lower risk of falls, metabolic diseases and cognitive decline.
