Something like 11,000 Chinese immigrants helped build the first transcontinental railroad in the USA. Of all those people, none of the houses where they lived remain.

But the floor of one was recently discovered in Utah, and archaeologists have completely dug it out, finding plenty of artifacts along the way.

We take up the story in this month's edition of Underground History, our monthly session with the .
