What was once a major hub on a key railroad line is now a cultural center, home to a nationally-recognized theater company.

If you guessed Ashland, you know the region well. The city has changed greatly over time, and Derek Severson has witnessed the more recent changes, in his role as Senior Planner for the city.

He has also interviewed city residents about the changes they've witnessed over time. And now we interview HIM for this month's edition of , collected by Maureen Flanagan Battistella for the Southern Oregon Digital Archive.
