Travel will happen again, but it may take a while before people are willing to get into the middle seat on an airplane. The prospect of getting COVID-19 scared many people away from traveling even before shelter-in-place orders.

, a journalist at Vox, recently took at look at the travel industry. She concluded that it is changed permanently by the pandemic.
