Scientists Zero In On Bumblebee Plant Preferences

"Pollinator gardens" have sprung up in recent years, planted by gardeners determined to help bee populations recover from steep declines. 

Science is only now getting a handle on which kinds of plants are most attractive to bees.  A study from the in California came back with strong evidence of which plants bumblebees will choose, when they have a broad set of choices.  Lead author Jerry Cole and some of his colleagues visit with their findings.
