Such is the nature of the Oregon-designated , rising into the mountains from the Rogue Valley floor.
The inaugural event on the bikeway will be the --advertised as "not a ride for the faint-hearted"--on July 23rd. Jenne Stanke Marmon, Bicycle and Pedestrian Program Manager for Jackson County Parks, visits with details of the bikeway and the first big ride on it.
