Oregon鈥檚 new governor will be sworn in Wednesday morning at the state capitol in Salem, and JPR will carry the event live. Kate Brown replaces John Kitzhaber鈥� he announced his resignation last week, effective today.
Kate Brown is currently the secretary of state; she will take her oath of office as governor at 10 AM Wednesday.
