Tending The Garden With Emily Dickinson

You'll have to imagine the gardening gloves and hat.

Emily Dickinson is revered for her poetry, yet still something of an enigma.  No one is quite sure why she was so reclusive later in life, spending nearly all of her time at home.

Lest anyone think she spent all of her time in her room writing, we have the new book .  Dickinson tended a garden outside and plants in her home.  We learn more about the poet than her poetry alone can provide; author (and gardener) Marta McDowell pays us a visit.
