Every summer for decades, many of us have looked forward to the return of the Britt classical season in August. However, because of COVID-19, concerts in many venues have been cancelled - including the entire Britt season for 2020.
We all hope that next year we will be able to gather for concerts of all kinds, but for now, Don Matthews and Valerie Ing will share orchestral performances from the Britt hill recorded last season and earlier.
The BFO performances, led by Teddy Abrams, include soloists like Ray Chen and James Ehnes, and a regional re-telling of Sergei Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf with actor Bruce Campbell. They will be featured on First Concert and Siskiyou ÀÏ·ò×Ó´«Ã½ Hall during the first week of August.
